Dreams to Reality Career Expo Highlights
Hey, everyone! As we wrap up Women’s History Month, I wanted to share some highlights from the Shelley’s House Dream to Reality Career Expo. We had some amazing women on the panel, including an IT specialist, nurse, lieutenant from the fire department, technical advisor, and marketing director.
The youth who attended the event had an incredible time! They loved trying on the cool firefighter uniforms and learning about the different career paths from the panelists. And let’s not forget about the emotional support dog of the veteran IT specialist - this furry friend was definitely a hit!
The marketing director also introduced us to some amazing hair products that the youth couldn’t get enough of. It was great to see them learning about different careers and being inspired to pursue their dreams.
The nurse and technical advisor shared their stories about the obstacles they faced in their careers and how they overcame them to achieve their goals. It was amazing to see how their stories resonated with the young people in attendance.
But the Shelley’s House Dream to Reality Career Expo isn’t just about having fun and trying out cool products. It’s about empowering and inspiring young people to pursue their dreams.
