Our 2024 Giving Tuesday Counseling Co-Pay Champions campaign aimed to raise $9,000 to cover counseling co-pays for 15 youth on a monthly basis. With healthcare co-pays of $50 per session, these funds ensured access to one-on-one therapy services for youth who needed support beyond our group therapy sessions. The campaign helped empower young lives by providing the mental health care they needed for a brighter future, making a meaningful impact on the youth we serve.

Community Baby Shower

In June, we organized a Community Baby Shower at the Michael E. Busch Library in Annapolis, Maryland, to honor expectant mothers and those who are six months postpartum from underprivileged communities. Our objective was to not only provide these mothers with essential baby items but also to offer them resources on safe baby sleep, maternal mortality, breastfeeding, and various other topics.

Vision Board and Journaling Workshops

Vision boarding can be an effective tool to help teenagers clarify their goals and aspirations, which can increase their motivation and commitment towards achieving them. By creating a visual representation of their dreams and desires, teenagers can tap into their creativity and develop a sense of ownership over their future. Additionally, vision boarding can help teenagers overcome self-doubt and limiting beliefs, as they begin to see themselves as capable of achieving their goals.
